Hexaplex was founded in Amsterdam at the end of 2007 by Cheryl Gallaway & Micha Bakker. The collaboration was intended to further develop ideas on digital design. During 2007-08 Hexaplex was testing work methods and deepening insights into design in the digital area, like web design. In 2009 Hexaplex was awarded funding by the FBKK to further develop this practice. Since November 2010 Hexaplex continue to collaborate remotely whilst working for clients in The UK and The Netherlands.
